Powers

Angels

  • No longer able to see or converse with God.
  • Ability to fly in their true forms
  • Ability to radiate light
  • Telepathic communication
  • Commiting sins may eventually lead to death. 1 sin will cause the angel to have their powers weakened by half for five full days. 2 sins without a five day lapse in between will cause the angel's powers to leave them completely for five full days. 3 sins without healing in between will cause death.
  • An unbroken circle of Holy Oil set aflame will trap an angel inside or outside of it.
  • May breed with humans, the result being a Nephilim.
  • Angels unable to marry may immaculately concieve children via female human surrogates as long as there is a verbal understanding and the human does it of their own free will and choice. Angelic babies are easy on the human mothers and actually contribute to their life force and they become healthier during the pregnancy than they might otherwise be.
  • May not breed with demons. It would be like water breeding with fire, it doesn't work.
  • Able to detect lies others tell.
  • May only fight in defense of themselves or another.
  • Different orders of angels have different powers.
  • Some angels don’t want to kill demons, instead preferring to convert them if possible.
  • An angel's celestial-forged sword can detect the presence of a demon by a light that emits from it. The light causes amnesia in all who see it, equivalent to the time it took to shine.
  • Immune to sickness
  • Immune to decay
  • Immune to mental intrusion
  • Immune to fire

Demons

  • Some have rare family heirlooms (talismans) that allow them to detect an angel’s presence. The look and design is up to the player but it should be something small and easy to carry on their person.

  • Can fly in their true forms
  • Can control darkness.
  • Can induce fear and pain.
  • May breed with humans, the result being a Daemonem.
  • Demon females who do not wish to carry their own spawn may contract with a human female to do it for them. The conception works much like a possession, although there may be sexual activity involved. There must be a verbal contract and a handshake to seal the deal. Demonspawn are difficult for human women to carry as they feed off the life force of their host/mother and usually drain them of energy, nutrition, etc.
  • May not breed with angels. It would be like fire breeding with water, it doesn't work.
  • Immunity to illusion.
  • Immunity to mind-control.
  • Immunity to disease.
  • Immunity to decay.
  • Resistance to toxins.
  • Invocation. Demons may always speak to each other, regardless of distance, as long as they know each others' Celestial Name or True Name.
  • Demons can heal their own injuries.

Nephilim

  • Immune to disease.
  • Fast recovery from injury and the ability to regenerate skin cells, from burns to loss of limb.
  • Their human nature has a constant battle with their angelic nature.
  • Inherit powers from their angelic parent on a smaller scale.

Daemonem

  • Immune to disease and decay.
  • Fast recovery from injury.
  • Their demonic nature has a constant battle with their human nature.
  • Inherit powers from their demonic parent on a smaller scale

Hunters

  • Have angelic or demonic blood somewhere in their family tree.
  • Inherit very slight powers from their supernatural ancestor.
  • Age a bit slower than an average human and don't get sick as often.
